Since 2020, I've had the privilege of officiating nearly 1,000 weddings throughout Charleston and beyond. In that time, I've learned that no two couples are the same—and their ceremonies shouldn't be either.
Some couples want a ceremony that is lighthearted and fun. Others want something deeply emotional. Some include religious traditions, while others prefer a completely secular celebration. Whatever your vision may be, my goal is always the same: to create a ceremony that reflects your relationship and the experience you want to create on your wedding day.
The Journey of A Charleston Wedding Officiant
I spent years in a corporate job that never felt right.
Then, in 2020, I attended a wedding where the officiant turned what many couples view as a "necessary part" of the day into one of the most memorable moments. Guests were engaged, the couple was fully present, and the ceremony felt every bit as important as the celebration that followed.
That moment changed everything.
I moved to Charleston and launched Custom Vows by Casey with the belief that wedding ceremonies deserve more attention than they often receive.
Nearly 1,000 ceremonies later, I still love what I do. One of my favorite things about officiating in Charleston is that no two weddings are ever the same. One day I might be standing beneath the oaks at a historic plantation, and the next on a quiet beach at sunset or in the courtyard of a downtown venue. Every setting is different, every couple has a unique story, and every ceremony brings something new.
Having officiated weddings throughout Charleston for years, I've had the opportunity to work alongside some of the area's best wedding professionals and at many of the region's most iconic venues. That experience allows me to confidently guide couples through the ceremony process while helping everything feel effortless on the day itself.
